Founded by VP David Robinson the series will incorporate four races in southern Ontario during February and early March of 2017.

The four locations are Fenelon Falls, Albion Hills, Craigleith Collingwood, and Hardwood Hill Oro Ontario.

This is a points race with the series winner being awarded at the grand final at Hardwood Hills. An Ontario Cup Trophy will be awarded in the 5k and 10k distance.

The race at Craigleith will serve as the Snowshoe Canada Canadian Championships.

A national Championship trophy will be awarded in the 5k and 10k distance.

“We are very proud to get this series off the ground and to be hosting Canadians in southern Ontario this winter”, adds Robinson.

“The venue sites and the Race Directors are all top notch which is positive for hosting future large scale events. We hope to get a good turnout and build on the results for next year.”
