Virtual Event Update
Our Virtual snowshoe event is open for registration and we are seeing a healthy signup rate after the first three weeks. We have over 30 sign-ups and many people have sent back their results. A number of people have been out several times so it is good to see the participation. Proceeds from the event will go to mental health.
We are putting the finishing touches on our results page and should have that up and functioning in the next few days. Another post will go out when it is officially up for viewing.
I thought you might like to see samples of the swag items that people will get for registering. These will be mailed out in late February and throughout March. We have a lovely wooden medal made of cedar with the Snowshoe Canada logo. This has been designed as a Christmas ornament for your Christmas tree. I thought that might be something a little different that people would enjoy and would be a lasting keepsake.
We also have a nice quality tubular bandana with the snowshoe Canada logo and our event sponsor Dion Snowshoes. Tubular bandana is a multifunctional tubular accessory ideal for many activities, which is made of a breathable but absorbent polyester material. The multifunction bandana has many different features, the main function is to absorb sweat, fast drying and windproof.
Many thanks to Derrick Spafford of Spafford Health and Adventure and Dion Snowshoes for their sponsorship of the event.
If you have already signed up thanks for your support. If you have not yet signed up please join us for some great exercise and a great cause.
