We are pleased to present our lineup of events for the 2023-2024 season. All of these events have been vetted by snowshoe Canada and have been officially sanctioned under our criteria.
The events are all operated by experienced race directors. They are considered to be safe and fun events that are open to everyone.

Snowshoe Canada acts as the national governing body for the sport of Snowshoeing in Canada.
The events in this section have all been sanctioned by Snowshoe Canada or the appropriate governing body in the country of origin. The event organizer has completed a sanction document which has been vetted by Snowshoe Canada or the governing body in that country. This ensures that the event is viable, being operated by competent staff, is safe for the participants and is a positive contribution to their community. As a participant, when you enter an event that is sanctioned by Snowshoe Canada you can be reassured that the event is viable, safe, well organized and an enjoyable experience. As a race director, having a sanction from Snowshoe Canada is a positive attribute of your event which will help you attract participants, sponsors, secure a venue to operate your event and obtain community funding. Sponsors, venue operators, municipalities and service suppliers will see this sanction as a signal that the race has met a set of standards set out by an independent third party.
