Quebec Provincials At Mont Sainte Anne Set to Go Saturday February 9th

The temperatures and snow conditions are promising to be perfect for the Quebec Provincial Snowshoe Championships to be held at Mont Sainte Anne, Quebec Saturday February 10th, 2019.

Pre registrations for this years event are well ahead of last year and a record turnout is expected.

Organizer Sebastien Lachance and his team are putting together a super event that promises to be the one of the best on the snowshoe circuit this winter.

All participants will receive a souvenir customized buff, finishers medal and hot lunch.

A cash prize purse is being offered in the 10 k event for the top three male and female racers.

This race is will serve as the first stage of the inaugural Quebec Cup Snowshoe Series.

The second and final event of the series will be at Gatineau on February 17th.

To be eligible for medals in the top three overall, the athletes must compete in both events.
