Canadian Snowshoe Championships Craigleith Ski Club Sunday February 17th, 2019

The crown jewel in the Snowshoe Canada event season is the Canadian Championships this year to be held at Craigleith Ski Club in Craigleith Ontario.

The event is set for 1 pm on Sunday February 17th, 2019.

This is the second time in three years that the club has hosted the event.

The snow conditions on the trails are excellent and the temperature for that weekend should be ideal.

The club volunteers have been staging an annual snowshoe event for over 12 years.

There will be a 5 k short course and a 10 k long course event.

All participants will receive a custom glass coffee mug with their entry along with a finishers medallion.

A hot lunch will be served in the north lodge after the event.

Preregistration will close Friday February 15th.

The 2019 Canadian Champions will be crowned at this event.

The event will also be the grand finale for the Ontario Cup Series and it will also serve as the inaugural Athletics Ontario Snowshoe Championships.
